Due to recent deregulation, many individual drivers have entered the "ride sharing service" market. My wife and I started a ride sharing business as a side job using our used car, as our family was struggling financially after our main employee's salary was cut. We often gave rides to drunk customers on their way home from bars, but our income increased more than we expected, so we were excited and worked hard on our side job of ride sharing.
